Happy Guy Fawkes Day & Halloween! Did you have a good week? I went Trick or Treating with my nephew, who was dressed as a scary pirate and collected tonnes of tuck! Then we went to watch the fireworks display in a friend's communal garden in Maida Vale. They had a huge bonfire, and I wished I bought marshmallows with me {plus a very long stick}. Wouldn't Bonfire Night make for the best wedding theme? You can imagine all your guests cosying around the fire, a sparkler send-off, and your favours could be s'more kits. S'mores are a tradition from the US - you squish heated marshmallows in-between biscuits - yum!
